מדיניות פרטיות
נילי (״האפליקציה״) מופעלת על ידי אור הגר (״המפעיל״). מדיניות פרטיות זו מסבירה איזה מידע האפליקציה אוספת וכיצד הוא משמש.
מה אנחנו אוספים
נילי תוכננה לאסוף את המינימום ההכרחי. אנחנו אוספים רק את מה שדרוש כדי שהאפליקציה תפעל.
מזהי התקן (להתראות פוש)
כשאתם מאשרים שליחת התראות, iOS מספק לאפליקציה מזהה התקן אנונימי שהונפק על ידי Apple. אנחנו שומרים את המזהה בשרת שלנו אך ורק כדי לשלוח את שלוש התראות הפוש היומיות (כשמהדורה חדשה מוכנה).
- המזהה אנונימי — אינו מכיל שם, מייל, מספר טלפון או כל פרט מזהה אישי.
- אנחנו לא משייכים אותו לאף מזהה שאתם מספקים.
- אם תבטלו את הרשאת ההתראות בהגדרות iOS, המזהה הופך לבלתי תקף ואנחנו משביתים אותו אוטומטית.
מידע אבחון (בצד השרת)
השרת שלנו רושם מטה־נתונים רגילים של בקשות HTTP (חותמות זמן, קודי תגובה) למטרות ניטור. הרשומות האלה אינן מכילות מזהי משתמש או היסטוריית קריאה אישית.
דיווחים בטופס ״מצאתם טעות?״
כשאתם משתמשים בטופס שבתוך האפליקציה, ההודעה שאתם כותבים נשלחת למפעיל במייל. המייל מכיל רק:
- כותרת הסיפור שעליו דיווחתם
- הטקסט שכתבתם
- מזהה ספרתי של הסיפור למעקב פנימי
אנחנו לא לוכדים את שמכם, מייל, כתובת IP או מזהה התקן יחד עם הדיווח.
מה אנחנו לא אוספים
- שם, מייל, טלפון או פרטי קשר אחרים
- מיקום
- היסטוריית קריאה או אילו סיפורים פתחתם
- אנליטיקה התנהגותית או מעקב שימוש
- מזהי פרסום
- מעקב חוצה אתרים או חוצה אפליקציות
- אנשי קשר, תמונות או נתונים אחרים מההתקן
האפליקציה אינה כוללת SDK של אנליטיקה, SDK של פרסום או SDK של מעקב מצד שלישי.
צדדים שלישיים שבהם אנחנו משתמשים
כדי לספק את השירות אנחנו משתמשים ב:
- Apple Push Notification service (APNs) — לשליחת שלוש ההתראות היומיות. מדיניות הפרטיות של Apple חלה על APNs.
- Resend (resend.com) — לשליחת מיילי דיווח טעויות אל המפעיל. Resend רואה רק את תוכן המייל ולא רואה אף מזהה התקן או משתמש.
- Supabase — שרת מסד הנתונים שלנו. מאחסן מזהי התקן ותוכן חדשות מצרפי. אינו מאחסן התנהגות אישית של משתמש.
- Fly.io — שרת האפליקציה שלנו. רק רשומות HTTP סטנדרטיות.
אנחנו לא מוכרים, משכירים או חולקים את המידע שלכם עם אף צד אחר.
משך שמירת נתונים
- מזהי התקן: נשמרים עד ש־iOS מדווח שהמזהה בלתי תקף, או עד הסרת האפליקציה — אז המזהה מושבת.
- מיילי דיווח טעויות: נשמרים בתיבת המייל של המפעיל ללא הגבלת זמן, למטרות מעקב.
- רשומות שרת: נשמרות עד 30 יום למטרות ניטור, ולאחר מכן נמחקות.
הזכויות שלכם
אתם יכולים:
- לבטל התראות פוש בכל רגע דרך הגדרות iOS → נילי → התראות.
- להסיר את האפליקציה בכל רגע. מזהה ההתקן שמשויך להתקנה שלכם הופך לבלתי תקף ומושבת.
- לפנות אלינו במייל orhager@gmail.com כדי לבקש מחיקה של דיווח שהגשתם.
שינויים במדיניות זו
אם נשנה באופן מהותי איזה מידע אנחנו אוספים, נעדכן את המדיניות הזו ואת תאריך ״בתוקף מ־״ שבראש העמוד.

Privacy Policy
Nili (the "App") is operated by Or Hager (the "Developer"). This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects and how it's used.
What we collect
Nili is designed to minimize data collection. We collect only what's necessary for the App to function.
Device tokens (for push notifications)
If you grant the App permission to send notifications, iOS provides Nili with an anonymous device token issued by Apple. We store this token on our backend solely to send you the three daily push notifications (when each digest edition is ready).
- The token is anonymous — it does not contain your name, email, phone number, or any personally identifiable information.
- We do not link the token to any identifier you provide.
- If you revoke notification permission in iOS Settings, the token becomes invalid and we automatically deactivate it.
Diagnostic data (server-side)
Our backend logs ordinary HTTP request metadata (timestamps, response codes) for service monitoring. These logs do not contain user identifiers or per-user reading behavior.
Feedback submissions
If you use the in-app "מצאתם טעות?" (Found a mistake?) form, the message you type is sent to the Developer via email. The email contains only:
- the headline of the story you reported
- the text you wrote
- a numeric story ID for our internal tracking
We do not capture your name, email, IP address, or device identifier with the feedback.
What we DO NOT collect
- Your name, email, phone number, or other contact info
- Your location
- Your reading history or which stories you tap on
- Behavioral analytics or usage tracking
- Advertising identifiers
- Any cross-site or cross-app tracking
- Your contacts, photos, or other device data
The App contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no tracking SDKs.
Third parties we use
To deliver the service, we use:
- Apple Push Notification service (APNs) — to deliver the three daily notifications. Apple's privacy policy applies to APNs.
- Resend (resend.com) — to deliver feedback emails to the Developer. Resend only sees the content of the feedback email; they do not see any device or user identifier.
- Supabase — our backend database host. Stores device tokens and aggregated news content. Does not store per-user behavior.
- Fly.io — our backend application host. Standard HTTP request logs only.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other party.
Data retention
- Device tokens: retained until iOS reports the token as invalid or you uninstall the App, at which point we deactivate the token.
- Feedback emails: retained in the Developer's email inbox indefinitely for follow-up.
- Server logs: retained for up to 30 days for service monitoring, then deleted.
Your rights
You can:
- Disable push notifications at any time via iOS Settings → Nili → Notifications.
- Uninstall the App at any time. The device token associated with your install will become invalid and be deactivated.
- Email orhager@gmail.com to request deletion of any feedback you submitted.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change what data we collect, we will update this policy and the "Effective date" above.
